The Thermal Cycle

The alternating sequence of hot, cold, and relaxation phases is repeated 3 to 4 times to create a holistic and rejuvenating experience known as the thermal cycle. It is believed to improve circulation, detoxification, immune function, and overall vitality, while also promoting deep relaxation and stress relief.

Sauna-Heating

Heat Phase (Sauna): Guests begin by spending 10 to 15 minutes in a hot sauna. The heat helps to relax muscles, open pores, and promote sweating, aiding in detoxification and stress relief.

Cold Phase (Cold Plunge or Cold Shower): After the heat phase, guests immerse themselves in a cold plunge pool or take a cold shower. It is recommended to spend a minimum of 30 seconds and up to 3 minutes during the cold phase, depending on tolerance. The sudden exposure to cold constricts blood vessels and stimulates circulation, reducing inflammation and boosting energy levels by releasing adrenaline.

Relaxation Phase: Following the cold exposure, guests move to a relaxation area to rest for 15-45 minutes and allow their bodies to return to a neutral state. This phase makes way for endorphins and is crucial for maximizing the benefits of the thermal cycle and promoting overall relaxation and well-being.
